Open Monthly Meeting
Our "Open Monthly Meetings" are open to everyone--individuals living with a mental illness, family members, friends, providers, concerned citizens, etc. You do not have to be a NAMI member to attend our meetings!
Open Monthly Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month.
The next meeting will be on held on Monday, March 10th, 2014 at 6:00 PM.

ANNOUNCEMENT: A 12-week Family-to-Family course will be offered from 6-8:30 PM on Tuesdays beginning March 4th, 2014, and ending May 20th. The location of this course is at Executive Towers in Hampton.

ANNOUNCEMENT: A free 10-week Peer-to-Peer Education course will be offered from 5:30-7:30 PM on Tuesdays beginning March 25th. It will be held at 100 Medical Drive, Suite A in Hampton (23666).
Peer-to-Peer is a scripted program that provides individuals (ages 18 and up) that are living with a mental illness information about preventing relapse and future hospitalizations, coping skills, information on the biology of mental illness and some of the most common mental illnesses, substance abuse and addiction, Mindfulness practices, and much more. This is not a "talk support group," but you will gain support from your peers who attend the course and from the peers (individuals who are successfully living with their mental illness) who are the Mentors (or teachers) of the course!
